We truly recognize the threats and concerns that this pandemic has generated for our companies, our workers and our work-zone customers. At Black Diamond Asphalt, ensuring the health and welfare of our citizens is at the heart of our business.

You should be assured that we work with the Middlesex - London Health Unit (MLHU) and that we strictly follow all the recommendations issued by Health Canada and the World Health Organisation. We're doing our absolute best to make our transactions with our consumers is a risk-free as possible. For  this purpose, we have set in place a variety of initiatives, including:

  • Our estimators and staff are assessed with regular health checks to see if they have any flu-like symptoms (dry cough, fever, headache, etc.).

  • Before beginning any project, all our crew and the customer must attend and proceed through our health check-up process. In-person encounters are limited to meet with social distance requirements, with a distance of at least 6 feet. All are expected to wear face masks while they are on site.

  • When presenting quotes, we prevent any physical encounters. Our estimator will survey the site without any face-to-face contact with the client, and you will obtain a quote via email. If you have any concerns or requests, you can contact our representative by phone.

  • Completion of a home quarantine period of 14 days is compulsory for anyone returning from a foreign country, risk zones, or who has been in contact with a person diagnosed with coronavirus.

We have engaged in the rigorous preparation and maintenance of our staff in order to perform and complete projects efficiently while meeting with the specified health and safety criteria. Our workers take the appropriate precautions and thoroughly clean high-touch materials, both on the worksite and our own devices and equipment. Our employees will also wash their hands, particularly after coughs and sneezes.


In order to ensure a safe working atmosphere for our staff, we will also communicate with our customers to find out any protection or health issues. If the customer has made trips to another country / high-risk zone or has come into touch with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, we will encourage customers to rearrange the service after completing the 14-day self-quarantine phase. We would also ask the client to reschedule if any member of the family has flu-like symptoms.
